Google, being one of the largest tech giant companies across the world, has once again made a notable change in the way the company handles the local reviews so far. It is needless to mention that Google has always look forward in making user-friendly changes and this time also the company has come up with something interesting. Although the change is small but it will save a lot of time of the smartphone users, especially when they will be in a place where they don’t understand the local dialect. Want to know the change? From now onwards, Google will translate the local reviews in the local language and the users don’t have to anything for the same. The declaration came from DK Kang, Product Manager, Google Maps. The official said, “When you are traveling somewhere new, two of your biggest challenges can be figuring out where to go and understanding the native language of wherever you are. The next time you are in a foreign place and want to check out a restaurant or point of interest, Google will translate the review into the language you’ve set on your device.”

Speaking on the same the official also added, “The best part is that the users don’t have to do a thing. Just open Google Maps or Search, search for what you’re interested in and the reviews are automatically translated.”

Another good thing about this latest development is that the translated version of the review will appear on the top and it will be followed by its original version. Google has also launched a screenshot of the same to explain the change in a much better manner. The latest update will also help users to avoid the hassle of copy and then paste the reviews into a translation app. In order to avail or experience this latest change made by Google, make sure that all Search based apps, as well as Google Maps, are updated to its latest versions.

This latest update from Google is also considered to come close on the heels of other latest features of Google Maps like location sharing, joining and sharing list of places, which enables users to share their location with their loved ones for a certain period of time.
